To adjust the setting of the machine, hydraulic rams are used to rotate or counter-rotate the bowl in the adjustment ring. The seal between the adjustment cap and hopper is a simple, continuous, tightly fitting flap which allows free, relative rotation but prevents intrusion of dust into the thread area. The lower end of the thread connection between bowl and adjustment ring is also sealed. The adjustment rams are pressurized hydraulically and provide a setting adjustment.
